Sciences & Maths · Year 10 and 11

The gap between a 7 and a 9 isn't effort.

It's technique. Four months to rebuild the full Year 10 and 11 syllabus, then drill it against real past papers.

Why it stalls

Working harder stops paying after a point

Most students sitting on 6s and 7s already put the hours in. Three things are usually going wrong at once.

Year 10 topics never properly landedYear 11 builds on foundations that were rushed. The gaps compound quietly until a mock exposes them.
They know the content but can't answer the questionIGCSE marks applied reasoning. Students who revise by rereading notes freeze the moment a question reframes a familiar idea.
Past papers come too late to matterMost prep leaves papers to the final weeks, when there's no time left to fix what they reveal.
The programme

Four months, in a deliberate order

Live, taught by subject specialists who teach IGCSE every day.

1
Months 1–3

The full syllabus, rebuilt from scratch

Year 10 and 11 content taught in sequence, so topics connect instead of sitting as isolated facts. Live lessons mean the tutor sees exactly where your child is stuck, rather than guessing from a worksheet.

2
Every lesson

Exam-style questions before the topic closes

Each session ends on questions written the way the examiner writes them. Applied reasoning gets trained as a habit from week one, not revised for at the end.

3
Month 4

Full past papers, with support in the room

Complete papers under real conditions, worked through with a tutor afterwards. By the exam, the format, the timing and the question style are all familiar.

The institute was a great help in reviewing all the condensed content in a short period of time. The tutors performed a commendable job, and the system as a whole is well-organized and managed.

I found Axonlearning by chance on Instagram when i was searching for IGCSE tutor support for my daughter. Turns out it was the best decision we made for her learning.

Fit

Who this works for

We take a limited number of students each cohort, so the call is partly us working out whether we can help.

A good fit if

  • Your child is in Year 10 or Year 11
  • They need Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Maths
  • They're putting in effort that isn't converting to grades
  • You can commit to four months of live sessions

Not a fit if

  • You're looking for one-off sessions before a test
  • You need English, Humanities or a language
  • Your child is already consistently at 8s and 9s
  • You want a recorded course with no live teaching

Pick a time that suits you

Thirty minutes with a specialist. We'll look at where your child is losing marks and tell you plainly whether we can help.

We review your child's current grades and which subjects are slipping.
We identify where marks are actually being lost — content, technique, or exam conditions.
We walk you through the four-month plan and what it would look like for them.
You leave with a clear picture either way. No pressure to enrol.
Questions

Before you book

Which subjects do you cover?

Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. We don't teach English, Humanities or languages — we'd rather do four subjects properly than everything adequately.

Is it online or in person?

Online, live. Students across the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait are in the same sessions, scheduled for Gulf time zones. Every lesson is recorded so a missed session isn't a lost topic.

My child is in Year 10, not Year 11. Is it too early?

Year 10 is the better starting point. The programme covers both years' content, so starting earlier means more time on past papers at the end — which is where the grade movement happens.

How many students are in a cohort?

Deliberately limited. Live teaching only works if the tutor can see where each student is stuck, which stops being true past a certain group size. We'll tell you exact numbers on the call.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many subjects your child takes. We go through pricing on the consultation once we know what they actually need — quoting before that would be guesswork.

What if we can't make the scheduled time?

Reschedule from the confirmation email, or reply to it and we'll find another slot. Lessons are recorded, so a clash during the programme doesn't mean falling behind.

Four months is enough. Six weeks isn't.

If your child is in Year 10 or 11 and the grades aren't matching the effort, the call costs you half an hour.
